From page 1 of the thread this will work with CD version but make sure you patch to 1.6 first from retail patch. Then apply this 2.3 patch to your Raven Shield folder.

- Install to your Rainbow Six 3 Gold or Raven Shield folder.

- Make sure you select the correct location of your game folder on your computer.
- Then check in game by clicking Internet when you go to Multiplayer. Play!

Then set your connection speed to T3 in the Multiplayer Options like below:
